Out he peers at dawn, So ageless and glorious in the morn, And all things glitter with delight, As we welcome his radiant light.
You ignite my day with ample cheer, While blazing with light from your own sphere, Birds, beasts and greens embrace your blinding light, Unleashing heat and haze by mid-day, when at your height.
At times, I gaze upon your glowing eyes with arrogance, And engage your smile, though intense, yet shrouded in elegance, Yet still, rain on me, your rays with new and ample winnings, Restore in me, glorious one, the hope of new beginnings.
