When the protected appear exposed,
The invulnerable seem vulnerable,
The impenetrable, penetrated,
Myself my soul I ask, how almighty are we?
When darts that fly as arrows of sport,
Penetrate screens of mounted steel,
And our walls seem compromised by a virus,
Mankind I can but question, are we all knowing?
When crown heads, that tread on gold,
And newsmen, speak from homemade bunkers,
And men of power, in their speeches stammer,
I have reason to examine, our human limitations.
Mankind its true has scaled beyond,
The heights beyond our stratosphere,
Yet it is mind bothering and baffling,
How we tremble at the kiss and sting 0f a virus.
All benched all stuck at home,
In bunkers all sorts of confinement,
Clueless, I have to say to myself,
And to tell myself and to mankind as well … LET US PRAY?
