STROLL IN THE SNOW

Both in their teens

All dressed in jeans

One bright but dark

The other light and white

A stroll in the forest

Two hearts at their purest

For one the snow she knew

The other it was all brand new

As hand in hand they strolled

Their teen hearts out they rolled

Just talking, not much more

Their smiles engaged to the core

The squirrels gazed

And the rabbits grazed

From tree to tree they swung

And on their tails, they hung

Her name was Susan

She was all but human

She white and he black

Love left no room for lack
