Like cows and grazing cattle
Or feeding horses on a plain
All they need is but just a startle
To charge up in one direction
For months there was incitement
With lies and conspiracy theories
Though human brains are hard as metal
Could soft but be as flower petals
On the ranch uphill this day
Democracy was in play
But when the cowboy yelled Chaaa!!
The heard stormed up the hill
I have no clue what the gain was
But to tear down the barns and gates
Just so Democracy will not thrive
A gain preserved for many years
On this dark day in January
America woke up in dismay
But some ranchers stood to preserve
The land of the free and of the brave
