HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LADY K

How can I not recall?

Before you could even crawl,

This women’s day in “Marta”

Yes on “Vasmova Marta,”

When joy bestowed my heart,

This day was set apart.

And when the infant cried,

Holding back tears I tried,

On this day in march,

My heart with joy forward did march,

For I could not resist your glamor,

Bestowed on us in favor.

My precious lady K,

On this brand-new day,

Not a reward for our chores,

Or much or any of my scores,

But his hand in Grace extended,

His love to us expanded.

Your sparkling tender eyes,

And your scanty little sighs,

On this demarcated day,

Marked as International day,

Was an honored day for women,

International day for Women.

Yes, How can I not recall?

Before you could even crawl,

Your infant smile beaming,

Like the sun’s rays streaming,

Coming from a billowing cloud,

My soul was mightily made proud.

There is so much to say,

In many a special way,

But time and chance have played,

Sometimes times I feel dismayed,

But I pray and edge you on,

To see a brand-new dawn.

Dedicated to birthday of my daughter Joannishka who was born on March 8 th

International Women’s day
