SMILE ALL WAY

When the storms of life hit, with endless pounding,

And all is drowned in roar and thundering,

When our hopes are thrust in the air and tossed amiss,

And we wrestle with thoughts quite hard to dismiss,

Still, Live and love your life given, with reason,

Inhale the breath to you still given, no matter the season.

And in other seasons without much reason,

Life can yourself thrust in the darkest prison,

When like a sore thumb, amongst its peers,

You stand tall confined, in stain, pain and in tears,

Yet make good, of the light through the crack that peeps,

To grant you hope, in the abyss of life so deep.

Many times in life, your steps may come slow,

As slow as watching the infant grass grow,

Your nose captures, the stench of fears,

That from your eyes exhale in tears,

Yet inch on towards the distant inch of light,

That will your eyes, grant instant sight.

If your eyes in search will sneak out of its socket,

For what else, where else is sight outside its socket,

And to engage our minds and heart to delve deep,

Our cause to be thankful to the one who grants us our keep,

We then will hail new skies that await, when the storms are over,

When the rainbow sky, life afresh to us is turned over.
