ONE SIDE LOVE

Though gleams my soul with rays of hope

When shows a knot of hearts so true,

Yet cracks my skull and breaks my spine,

When I so yield of all my love,

To one that bears her love afar,

Oh how it hurts to be in love.

You say her name

And my heart burns,

You walk her gait

And I am possessed,

You don her veil

And my eye fails.

OH HOW IT HURTS TO BE IN LOVE

My eyes fail from want of sleep,

When thoughts of her enslave nay mind,

And even when my sleep breaks loose,

Dreams that are screened,

Are filled with her being.

Oh how it pricks to be in love.

You roam her world

And I'll loose mine,

Just feign her dance

And I will miss mine,

Just fake her kiss

And I will go loose.

OH HOW IT HURTS TO BE IN LOVE.
