LOVE ON SIXTEEN WHEELS

It was a time, t’was Christmas

Was learning this side of carols

To the skating ring we went

This girl I met was real

I am yearning for that tender heart

She was none but three feet tall

She gave more love than most I know

She made me feel it all

She graced my palm with hers

As though we were all peers

And we rolled and she will not let go

For what she gave was pure

On sixteen little wheels we rolled

Our hearts the skies we scaled

It all was but nice and simple

But my heart knew it was true

Then we came to a fixed tree

She stopped and said “The Mistletoe!”

My mind and eyes enlarged

What next? I did not know

She beckoned my head to drop low

I thought it was for a whisper

Then her little lips she planted

On my bigger black chick

I felt as though injected

With love bigger than a tsunami

This love for the brother so pure

I wished then she was grown

I crave that little heart

Her name I did not know

I know she now loves and is loved

Cause what she gave was true
