GIVE EAR EBONYMAN

And they with sharpened noses,

Concealed in masks like roses,

In days of jubilations,

Born out of tribulations,

On days their memories hail,

And moments they never fail,

To cry loud to all ears,

And weep they in their tears,

The words of love and peace,

That all of hate shall seize.

Yet to us with flattened noses,

With skins of faded roses,

Who hail from lands of darkness,

You cast behind your glittering masks,

Furtive glances at our darkness.

Give ears you all mankind,

Give thought all my kind,

That seas our souls in search shall sail,

And skies of heights our wings shall scale,

Yet in our might alone,

Our soul shall be at home.
