AN EXPLODING HEART

Anger lends its wide ear

At times to no instant fear

And rides on a high horse

Riding on no guided course

Anger by its steaming self

Is not always without good health

Arousing the weary and hungry

To evoke changes, even when angry

There are in life some folks

Who will deliver you some chokes

Knowing you are on short fuse

Just to fan their amusing abuse

Many a time life reveals

Whatever you seek to heal

Your raging, exploding heart

You must suppress in part

I say it not like it’s easy

And the wind of anger is breezy

It’s okay, loud or quiet to exhale

What matters is what will prevail

It pays to pour cool waters

On you, to evade all falters

Adding to it great patience

Relying on his holy guidance
