Mr. Alex Owusu is a renowned business entrepreneur in the Washington DC Metro area. Guided by his long term dream of making life easy for Ghanaians living abroad, Alex’s “One-Stop Financial Services Center” at Riverdale, Maryland is strategically located inside the beltway close to the heart of the US capital City, Washington DC. The office caters for the Insurance, Banking, Investment, Real estate and Mortgage needs of the minority population especially, the Ghanaian community in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
These seemingly individual but interconnected set of companies all fall under one umbrella company called Global Financial Group Inc., of which Mr. Alexander Owusu currently serves as the CEO/President.
A.K.Owusu Insurance Agency of Allstate is licensed to provide Insurance, Investment and banking services in the state of Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC and New Jersey since November 1, 2008. Under his leadership, the principal agent Mr. Owusu’s Allstate Insurance Agency in Riverdale Maryland was ranked among the top 3% producers in the capital region during the agency’s first full year of operation.
Global Realty services LLC, a licensed real estate brokerage firm located in Riverdale, Maryland is one of the few minority owned real estate brokerage companies in the US today to survive the historic down turn of the real estate industry in the U.S.A.
Global Mortgage Services and its affiliate Premier Financial Funding continue to provide mortgage services to its valuable residential and commercial mortgage clients.
Prior to venturing out on his own, Mr.Owusu was a Financial Analyst at Citibank, Washington DC. 2004 – 2008. Asst. Bank Manager at Chevy Chase Bank, Maryland: 2000 – 2004. Default Loan Analyst at Fleet Mortgage Company, Milwaukee Wisconsin 1998- 2000 and a Registered Representative, Prudential Insurance Company, Paramus, NJ. 1996 -1998.
Professional Licenses: Mr. Owusu is a Licensed Real Estate Broker, licensed loan originator, licensed insurance producer - property and casualty, Life & Health, Series 6 & 63.
Professional Associations: Mr. Owusu's professional and ethical standards is shaped by his personality as family man and the expected high set of standards as a members of the following associations in the United State of America: National Association of Security Dealers (NASD); Security Investment protection Corporation (SIPC); Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA); National Association of Realtors (NAR) and, National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB).

Nana Danso is a project manager at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and has had a successful career working for financial services companies such as Travelers Life & Annuity and Principal Financial Group. At Boehringer Ingelheim (BI), Nana combines leadership, influencing and motivational team-building skills to generate significant cost savings and motivate optimal performance of employees at all levels
Nana has successfully managed projects such as the Finance On Track to Success implementation in which he positioned the Finance function to achieve its strategic objectives and capitalize on cross-functional synergies by leading an 18-member team in the creation of a comprehensive and transparent career development framework specifically tailored around BI’s needs, opportunities, competencies and talent.
At BI, Nana has also held positions in Sales, Marketing and Market Research.
Nana is also an award-winning public speaker. In August, 2010 he won third place in the World Championship of Public Speaking semi-finals for Toastmasters International.
Nana received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut and an MBA from Yale University’s School of Management.

Michael is the CEO/Sr.Partner at daCostas Consult LLC, a project management consultancy firm in the Washington DC Metro area. He also acts as consultant /project manager for various design and build construction firms in Washington DC and Maryland amongst which are-ARJ GROUP INC, SAI and others.
Michael has broad project management and construction background with over 8 years of experience. He is resourceful with the ability to supervise, manage and motivate his staff.
He is capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and completes projects producing professional results while adhering to rigid deadlines.
Prior to moving to the USA, Michael was a practicing attorney, based in Accra, Ghana. He was called to the Ghana Bar in 1997 and is a member of the Ghana Bar Association and the International Bar Association(London).
Michael practiced law at the following law firms-SAM OKUDJETO & ASSOCIATES, Accra, CANN,QUASHIE & CO,Takoradi and was a Partner at Opoku-Boamah,daCosta & CO, Accra.
Michael also served as the first young lawyer in Ghana to accept national service posting to Wa in the Upper West Region; as the solicitor and legal advisor to the Wa District assembly and the District Chief Executive.
Michael has experience as general and corporate counsel of both foreign and domestic business. He has broad legal background with years of experience in the corporate and commercial law.
Michael has a unique combination of law and project management and high tech training and experience in international and transactional legal and managerial experience.
He is persuasive individual, possessing strong negotiating skills, oral and written communicating skills. Michael is also resourceful with the ability to asses’ issues to adequately protect clients and complete projects producing professional results.
